GBC is once again participating with Samaritan's Purse to collect shoebox gifts ‑ filled with toys, school supplies and hygiene items for children around the world to demonstrate God's love in a tangible way. There are brochures and pre-printed shoeboxes in the church foyer. Deadline to bring in filled boxes is Sunday, November 23rd.

The prizes will be items you bring, all wrapped up: new, old, pretty, ugly, useful, not useful, fun, boring, interesting. . . (Remember- one person’s trash is another’s treasure.)
Potluck snacks, finger foods -preferably no utensils. Beverages will be provided.
Every 50 minutes or so there will be an intermission filled with trivia questions. Hope to see you there

Saturday, March 29th, 2pm - 6pm in the GBC Fellowship Hall
The 50+ group is providing another opportunity to hang out together. Once again, it will be primarily a game day but with a couple of added items - indoor corn hole for one, small tables for talkers, and card playing. Snacking is the food word. And several beverages will be provided.
So, bring a game, a snack, or both. Hope to see you there!

On Sunday, February 9th, immediately following the worship service, women of all ages are invited to help pack cookies and notes for individuals needing encouragement. Please bring your favorite cookies—homemade or store-bought—cards and wrapping supplies will be provided.
