The bottom line is that church, done well, is messy. It always has been.

 It’s comforting to hear sermons on compassion, kindness, humility, meekness, patience, and other qualities of God’s love.

But, in the end, talk is cheap.

Will we DO what needs to be done to demonstrate these virtues of grace? That takes guts.

Don’t cut and run.

That’s the cowards’ way out.

Jesus is no coward. Be like Jesus.
